what is hard RTOS?
- work should be completed in given deadline. It is perfect. it should be & must be completed in time which given by user or Already set in programming.
- Eg. Radar for defence
The Hard rtos use in radar will complete the given work within deadline
suppose if we have to complete work in 10 sec then such time scheduled job must completed by Hard RTOS.
What is soft RTOS?
- Work is not complete within a deadline. It is not so perfect.
- Eg. Washing machine
- If u scheduled work for 10 sec to soft RTOS but the it not capable to complete work in 10 sec. It will complete ur work in 10 sec with no perfection.
-suppose u have to print 10 page in 10sec if OS is hard it will completed but if OS is soft it will not complete, it print ur 8 page n remaining is truncated.
Os may be Hard or Soft or it may be both, it depends on it's programming.
